Ephesians 1:4

According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4)

In Hebrews 7:1-14, Paul the apostle speaks of Abraham paying tithes to Melchezidek. In v. 9-10, Paul explains how Levi paid tithes in Abraham while still ‘in Abraham.’ Likewise, before the foundation of the world, us Christians, and those who will be Christians according to the favor and grace of Gd Almighty, were (and are) in Christ before the foundation of the world; because we were being prepared to the new birth throguh the redemption of Christ, being ready to partake of His Spirit, in order to give God the glory, honor, and praise for our salvation in Christ Jesus forever.

Now, Levi was not alive inside Abraham, nor did he know anything of himself; he was not a creature as of yet; but Paul says he was in Abraham, ready to come out to partake of the promises, even though he paid tithes to Melchezidek. Likewise, we are not sentient before the foundation of the world when we are in Christ. I hope this is not going to be misunderstood, but this is a mystery concerning our calling in the gospel. Just as Levi was in Abraham paying tithes to Melchizedek, we are in Christ before the foundation of the world.

When Christ was crucified, it is stated in Revelation 13:8 He was slain before the foundation of the world. Before the world was created, even, Jesus was crucified. Jesus Christ is the starting point, the focal point for a ll creation, and everything must gain their meaning and focus from the Lord Jesus Christ, for we were all made for His good pleasure.

Jesus Christ died on the cross so we could have faith in His death to be our substitution. If we have faith, or put our faith in, the cross of Christ as our own death, we will be freed from sin and the law according to Romans 6:7; and if we have faith that as He rose from the dead, we will rise from the dead, because His resurrection power lives in us, enabling us and renewing us as new creatures in His new creation to fulfill His holiness through our faithin His complete work done during His time one earth, we will walk with Him in His Spirit forever!

Faith comes from God, but is is exercised by our will directly. How can this contrast be true? In order to have faith in something, it must be there. There is no marriage without a husband, otherwise there would be nor eason to even think about a marriage union; but because the wife comes along and you fall in love with her, you prove your love to her first and show her that you are there ready tocare for her. If the husband was not there, there would be no reason for the wife to love him back; likewise is it with God: He loved us first, so when we ut our faith in Him, we can give the glory to God because He has given us someone to believe in, thereby making faith come directly from Him, since it is His faithfulness that we are drawn to, and it is His faithfulness that creates the desire for us to go to Him in the first place.

When Jesus died on the cross, behold, a new creation was started; not a new creation which is in the physical realm, but a new heaven and a new earth shall be the culmination of this glorious re-creation that started at the cross of Calvary. In Genesis, we see the creation in chapter one, but we can also see how Christ Jesus fulfilled those first seven days during His passion. At day one, God made the light; and Jesus Christ, when He died at the cross, shed forth the light of the Gospel of grace through faith in His blood. On day two, God laid down the firmament between heaven and earth; and Jesus Christ broke through the firmament and reaped Hades of those righteous souls waiting for the promise of the Kingdom of God from the beginning of time. On day three, God made the land, sea, and the plants; and Jesus Christ on the third day rose from the dead, gving us access through His life the redemption of our carnal sevels into the glorious life of the gospel of Jesus Christ through faith in His resurrection to give us His life for all eternity in exchange for our sinful wastes of life. On day four, God made the stars, the sun, and the moon as the lights for a sign to the people of the world; Jesus Christ made Mary and the apostles as bright, shingin lights to testify of His gospel to all nations, through their testimony, and through the word of God wirtten under their care. On day five, God made all the living creatures of the world and the sea; and Jesus Christ drew in many Jews during the first few years of the Acts of the Apostles. On the sixth day, God created man; and Jesus Christ, when He sent forth Paul to preach to the Gentiles, made, according to Ephesians 2:15, both one new man through the Gentiles recievieving the promises of Abraham, making the Gentiles partakers of heavenly glory, thus drawing all into Christ for one new man, having abolished the enmity between Jew and Gentile forever.

Jesus has made a new creation within our souls, and we must not do what Israel or the world did, and come against our brother, because of God’s favor upon another, as Cain did with Abel, nor listen to the devil try to tempt us against Christ Jesus, which happened in the garden of Eden. We should not give ourselves over to the lusts of the flesh, as the early members of earth before the flood did; or give ourselves over to lasciviousness and greed in order to conquer the world, as the Babylonians did with the Tower of Babel. Let us draw near to the one who has made us new again, In Christ Jesus, and forgive one another of all their tresspasses and start over again, afresh, anew, and give our lives over again to the cross of Jesus Christ, and live forever with Him in glory unpspeakable in Jesus name! Amen!
