The Evangelical Verse-Sermon, Intended to be Preached in the Open Air Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:17) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one (Romans 3:10) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother (Mark 10:19) Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4) The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23) For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16) Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God (John 3:3) Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:5) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3) In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7) For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9) Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) And the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7) And without shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22) Repent ye therefore, and be converted (Acts 3:19) Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38) That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13) If you ever change your mind, or you are ever afraid to die, or you are ever in a situation you cannot handle or control: confess your sins to God; ask God to forgive you of your sins; ask God for the blood of Jesus Christ to remove your sins; tell Jesus you believe He rose physically from the dead; and ask God for His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, to dwell in you. Be baptized by immersion in water; read at least one chapter of the Bible every day; spend quality time with Jesus Christ in prayer every morning, noon, and evening; memorize the Lord's Prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13; take time to do good things for other people; evangelize constantly; preach outside in the open air. Pray the following: "Father, shelter me under the blood of Jesus Christ, and rebuke now the devil away from me in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." Read the Bible, and do what it says; Jesus died for your sins; Jesus rose from the dead; Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, the risen Son of God! |
